Living Through Challenging Times

Helpful Links for Mental Health, Substance Misuse, and Other Social Services and Resources by State/Territory

The aftermath of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic - along with a number of other global and national crises - have led to a wave of stress, anguish, and uncertainty. In turn, many BAC members and their families have been tasked with figuring out how to maintain a sense of normalcy. These public hardships may have been especially triggering for those who are predisposed to mental health conditions and/or substance misuse challenges. In fact, rates of anxiety, depression, suicidality, and substance use disorders have all increased substantially in recent years. The Bricklayer’s Member Assistance Program (MAP) is here to support you in getting connected to critical mental health, substance misuse, and social services as we continue to work towards building a brighter future. Please see the following links for national and state-by-state resources.

Challenging Times and Your Wellbeing

The MAP team is committed to helping members and their families recover in the wake of global turmoil. As part of our response effort, we have written a series of articles to help address the complex emotional, behavioral, and societal strains that have been faced by our members in recent times. We invite you to explore the series below:
